Founded in 1988 Bacatel, Inc. dba The Electronic Connection has been the exclusive Authorized Radio Shack Dealer for Wytheville, VA and the surrounding areas for almost 20 years. Current management took over in 1995 and in 1999 we expanded to a new location in Abingdon, VA to better service our customers in the Tri-cities region.
After the overwhelming success of our retail business, we branched out into the field of custom A/V installation. We have steadily grown this aspect of our business over the last few years, steadily advancing our proficiency and building trust with our clients. In response to the constantly increasing demand for high-end custom installation of A/V products, we are proud to unveil VAcustomAV, the newest aspect of Bacatel, Inc.
With our two exciting locations in southwest Virginia, we can provide service across Virginia, east Tennessee, western North Carolina and southeast Kentucky.
